What's registeredPer product: every commercial feed, including pet food and pet treats, is registered with the Division before it is sold in Kentucky. The Division says “Kentucky law does not require a separate facility license to sell products in Kentucky.” Firms that manufacture feed in Kentucky also file their name and each Kentucky plant (KRS 250.511(1)).
Product registration fee$50 per product per year, for products sold only in packages of 10 lb or less.
