Rocky Mountain Power, Wyoming: PURPA avoided-cost rates

Rocky Mountain Power (PacifiCorp) - Wyoming: what it publishes for small generators (qualifying facilities) under PURPA, field by field, with the source for each. Checked on October 4, 2026.

When this may change: No fixed annual cycle printed in the tariff: prices are 'subject to change from time to time'; once 10 MW of resources are acquired under Schedule 37 the Company must file updated pricing within 30 days. In practice RMP files around June 30 (2025 and 2026); the 2026 update (Docket 20000-714-ET-26) is pending.

Rates, eligibility and contract terms change: confirm them with the utility or the state utility commission before relying on them.

ScheduleSchedule 37, Avoided Cost Purchases from Qualifying Facilities (P.S.C. Wyoming No. 19)

Note: Schedule 38 (Avoided Cost Purchases from Non-Standard Qualifying Facilities) covers QFs above the Schedule 37 limits or after the Schedule 37 cap is reached, with negotiated/indicative pricing; it is not a standard offer.

Capacity paymentNone separate: avoided capacity costs are folded into the seasonal On-/Off-Peak energy prices by spreading total monthly avoided cost dollars (energy and capacity).

Note: Method described in RMP's testimony in Docket 20000-687-ET-25; the tariff itself prints energy prices only.
